At least five well-know jazz musicians have died due to COVID-19 since the start of pandemic. There were quite a few others we lost in 2020, but to the best of my knowledge, COVID-!9 was not listed as the proximate cause of death. I will try to keep this as up-to-date as possible to honor their memories. They are listed in order of their passing.
